Bless the Lord o my soul; Let all that is within me bless His holy name.
I get why King David was constantly praising God. He understood that there is POWER the praise and worship of God. Praise elevates the mind high above the earthly realms and draws us into God’s magnificent presence. There you may receive renewed strength and a rejuvenated will. And yes, a humbling experience as well.
